Dravida Kazhagam, Popular Front of India workers held in Tamil Nadu

Coimbatore: Around 120 activists of Dravida Kazhagam and Popular Front of India (PFI) were arrested today when they attempted picket the city railway station, demanding immediate implementation of Sethusamudram Shipping Canal Project.
The workers raised slogans in support of their demand and wanted to not to give a 'communal colour to a development project,' police said.
As the activists, including a few women, squatted before the station, police removed them.
