Financial Controller - UAE

AGC has a history which spans over 100 years of business in diversified trading portfolios across Central Asia. AGC currently has business operations in more than 40 countries located in the Middle East, Central Asia, East Europe, Asia and Africa regions. We are a global distribution and marketing group dealing with leading FMCG products such as tea, cooking oil, cigarettes and have plans to diversify in several other products. For our growth and business expansion plans we require personnel for the following position based in Dubai, UAE.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
  • Establish & Implement short and long term departmental goals, objective, policies and operating procedures.
  • Review and submit group financial statements to the management on periodic basis, clearly highlighting the key indicators.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal control systems.
  • Managing budgets & preparing cash forecasts and financial analysis
  • To liaise with the local banks, insurance, customs & regulatory authorities.
Skills:
  • Individuals with sound judgment, having relevant FMCG experience of 10-15 years as a Financial Controller. The candidate should be a CPA or qualified chartered accountant.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • In addition to the above, he should be well-versed with local laws relating to customs, imports and exports.
